SYDNEY, Australia – 16 November 2010 – Elcom, one of Australia's leading Web Content Management developers, today announced three new client wins across the utilities, FMCG and Insurance sectors, with: Onstream, SC Johnson and the Medical Indemnity Protection Society.
According to CEO John Anstey “This latest series of wins shows Elcom’s ability to meet the needs of clients from across all industry sectors and showcases our range of technical capabilities. We have secured our reputation for driving innovation in the local marketplace and can now prove our competence on the global stage”.
Having recently featured as a “vendor to watch”, on Gartner’s 2010 Magic Quadrant report, Elcom’s focus in the coming years will be to establish a firm position on the quadrant. The company’s emphasis on portfolio diversification, international expansion and revenue growth, will greatly assist in achieving this objective.
Onstream is the shared services firm created to support Tasmania’s three state water corporations. This was a significant client win for Elcom, as it saw the company’s entrance into the Tasmanian marketplace. “this was an important step for us, not only due to the location, but also because we were effectively developing four different websites and four different intranets for On Stream – totalling eight different sites from a single deployment” says Anstey.
SC Jonson is a leading global producer of FMCG products. According to Anstey, “Taking on SC Johnson was an important win because of the sheer size and the scale of the project”. Elcom was commissioned to redevelop SC Johnsons’ intranet; which involved developing a solution based on best practices, streamlining complex processes and managing extensive HR induction programmes and OH&S policies for hundreds of users.
Medical Indemnity Protection Society (MIPS)
MIPS support and protect the interests of its members, practitioners in the health industry through the provision of medical indemnity insurance and associated services. Elcom was approached by MIPS to assist in developing a consolidated web platform which would incorporate a new corporate website, a member’s portal, integration with a backend administration system and a range of other functionalities. This win has added to Elcom’s portfolio in the Insurance sector, and was important “because of the holistic nature of the solution required, which has allowed Elcom to showcase its full range of capabilities.” stated Anstey.
Through the support of its global channel partners, Elcom is continuing to engage new clients and projects so it can progressively grow as a company and innovate its product offering. With the company’s objectives firmly set on becoming a key international provider, Elcom is definitely a company to watch.
