Having recently featured as a vendor to watch, on the 2010 Garter Web Content Management (WCM) Magic Quadrant report, Elcom was invited to exhibit at the Gartner Portals, Content and Collaboration (PCC) Summit in Los Angeles. The PCC Summit enables IT and business executives to get the most out of their existing and new investments in portals, enterprise content and information management systems, messaging and communications, collaboration, and social software.
The central theme of the PCC Summit was on “Understanding Engagement: How New Insights and New Interactions Drive Performance”. Elcom was able to discuss this issue of Engagement in the context of key industry trends, such as Mobility and the User Experience, which were also being presented at the Summit by Gartner Analysts.
The event, being one of Elcom’s first major introductions to the North American Market was undoubtedly a success with many diverse organisations attending the event, and taking away knowledge about Elcom and its breath of capabilities. Through this event, Elcom was able make some great relationships both at a client level and at a partner level.
