Business Development Manager – Sydney Australia

The opportunity

Duties and responsibilities

  • Managing the sales cycle, including cold calling, prospecting, meeting prospects, preparing proposals and developing relationships
  • Identifying, developing, and assessing opportunities
  • Managing and achieving a sales quota
  • Creating and managing specifically targeted sales campaigns

Innovation and Continuous Improvement

  • Collaborating with the various Elcom teams, and participating in activities to improve team & business outcomes
  • Attending product training
  • Identifying features and industry trends that could be added to the Elcom product roadmap, and benefit our customers

Skills and Experience

  • Software sales experience, preferably selling Web Content Management Systems, or Business Software Solutions
  • Existing client relationships and business network
  • A willingness to learn new technologies and a passion for sales
  • A self-starter, with high energy levels and a positive attitude
  • Honesty, integrity, trust and commitment together with solid communication skills are vital in order to secure this excellent role in a company that values its people
