SYDNEY, Australia, September 14. Holiday Coast Credit Union (Holiday Coast) and Elcom Technology (Elcom) launch a website and staff portal with reciprocity at the centre of the design. As a key element of their digital transformation strategy the choice of vendor and CMS platform had to align and support ‘member first’ key objectives to recognise and reward loyalty throughout all life stages.

“Our vision for a digital bank ensures always open, seamless self-service access to manage, save, grow and protect the assets of our community. To ensure quality customer experience our website and our staff portal need to support this vision.” Neville Parsons, CEO, Holiday Coast.

On 7 September 2016, Holiday Coast launched a mobile responsive website with an integrated secure staff portal on the elcomCMS platform. Key objectives of the site are to support growth through lead generation, deliver highly targeted and relevant content to members, and exceptional customer experience. Another key requirement was to offer text to speech by integrating ReadSpeaker to provide accessible technology for the vision impaired and elderly.

“With customer centric-design and contextual navigation we are targeting 20% growth by 2020 in digital customers. We knew Elcom would be open and responsive to new ideas, flexible in their approach and work extremely hard to deliver a solution that supported our digital transformation strategy.” Ellissa Nolan, Executive Manager Digital & Projects, Holiday Coast.

Holiday Coast first selected Elcom Technology based on the quality of the elcomCMS platform, calibre of clients and alignment to their digital services strategy. The decision to stay was evidence based, elcomCMS is a proven system that makes staff training and publishing really easy. The platform is adaptable and the quality of service and customer support is high. No idea is a bad idea and quotes are turned around quickly to facilitate speedy decisions.

As a highly regulated and accountable industry the use of forms and workflow for the content approval process protects Holiday Coast and its members. Single sign on to the workforce portal makes it secure and simple to access corporate knowledge and people, increasing productivity and the ability to focus more on the customer experience.

A spokesperson for Elcom Technology, Ryan Bloch, General Manager, said “we were delighted to have the opportunity to work closely with Holiday Coast and build a solution that improves customer experience and connects their workforce. At Elcom we take a long term view with our clients and together Holiday Coast and Elcom will continue to build digital services and technology for the future.”
