A key element of our digital strategy, as an organisation with multiple regional branches, is to be social, local and mobile to deliver advice, expertise and quality customer experience. It’s equally important for us to have a consistent national brand and presence, to attract funding for major research projects, to find better ways to treat asthma.
We required a digital transformation platform that would support our need to align all our regional branches with national. Our objective was to consolidate information and provide a seamless customer experience, but still empower each branch to easily create and publish their own content.
We also wanted to offer our customers a more interactive experience and enable the community to connect and encourage each other through the use of social tools. The site also had to be mobile responsive.
The secure staff portal, our first national intranet, needed to open up the lines of communication across all our regional branches and enable serendipitous discovery and interaction that would lead to more collaboration.
